According to Bloomberg, this is the planned combined investment in AI this year from the likes of Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Alphabet.

Some observations:

• At an average annual compensation of $120,000, this hypothetically represents roughly 2.9 million jobs.

• How can AI be useful and valuable to my company?  Try this.  Go to Claude.ai and type in this question:   “Can you build me a LLM application that taps into all major sources of knowledge in my company, including e-mail, stored documents, and recorded meetings, with the goal of significantly increasing the efficacy of solutions and services provided to our customers?”
