Framework for understanding, evaluating, and embracing AI

In addition to figuring out how to incorporate AI into our company’s processes, platforms, and operations, it just as important (maybe more) that we develop the appropriate posture toward technological innovations that embraces these advances in a way that gives glory and honor to God and enables us to serve others well.  Having this framework is important in an environment where new developments, opportunities, and challenges arise with increasing rapidity.

All human advancement has the potential to give greater glory to God, the Creator of all, but also can lead to the temptation of self-reliance and idolatry.

At Lindenwood, we don’t have all the answers, but we are willing to boldly walk alongside you in this great journey and adventure, adhering to some fundamental principles:

• View all actions through the lens of giving glory to God

• Act by faith, not by fear

• Maintain bias toward relationships versus transactions/processes/efficiency

• Avoid cooperation with evil (formal, immediate, proximate)

• Embrace a posture of nimbleness

• Keep healthy balance between our spiritual, intellectual, and physical natures
